- 2-4 years of relevant experience in a law firm and/or government setting.
- Background or extensive experience in computer science, information technology, and/or engineering.
- Knowledgeable and experience with cybersecurity laws and industry standards, including:
- Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (“CFAA”), CMMC 2.0, SEC Cybersecurity Disclosure Rule, Cyber Incident Reporting for Critical Infrastructure Act (CIRCIA), GLBA Safeguard Rules, HIPAA Security Rule.
- State cybersecurity requirements and data breach laws
- NIST Cybersecurity Framework, Systems and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type II audits, PCI-DSS
- Experience in crisis management, incident response, and/or government and internal investigations involving complex or technology-related issues.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment addressing time-sensitive issues in crisis management work.
- Highly organized and self-motivated, with strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
- The position may be filled in Washington, D.C. (strong preference) or Tysons. In accordance with applicable Pay Transparency Laws, the pay range for this position in these locations is $235,000 - $310,000/yr. This range may not be applicable to other locations. An individual's actual compensation will depend on the individual's qualifications and experience.
