Project Leader
Location: Auburn, AL
Pay Range: $65,000 – $110,000 annually performance incentives

The Role
- The Project Leader (PL) is responsible for the full cycle of Holland Homes’ residential construction projects. From ground-breaking to homeowner handoff, PLs manage subcontractors, maintain budgets and schedules, and ensure every home meets Holland’s white-glove standards.
- PLs operate independently on assigned communities while mentoring Assistant Project Leaders and collaborating with Senior Project Leaders.
Responsibilities
Project Management
- Lead daily jobsite operations for assigned homes or communities.
- Review plans, manage scopes, and resolve field issues.
Scheduling & Reporting
- Maintain job schedules and submit daily/weekly updates.
- Ensure milestones and inspections are met per local requirements.
Budget & Procurement
- Manage budgets, approve VPOs, and oversee procurement accuracy.
- Partner with Purchasing on material readiness and scope changes.
Quality & Homeowner Experience
- Conduct quality control inspections and homeowner walkthroughs.
- Proactively resolve deficiencies before closeout.
Team Leadership
- Mentor APLs and reinforce Holland’s processes, safety, and quality culture.
- Serve as primary point of contact for homeowners during construction.
The Person
- Bachelor’s degree in Building Science, Construction Management, or Engineering preferred.
- 3–5 years of residential construction management experience.
- Proficiency with Buildertrend, BlueBeam, AutoCAD, Procore, or PlanSwift.
- Strong budget management and scheduling skills.
- Excellent leadership and client-facing communication.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $65,000 – $90,000
- Incentives: Performance-based
