Project Surveyor
Holland Office
Project Surveyor needed immediately in our Holland, Michigan office. Our local Survey Group has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Surveyor who is self-motivated, has a strong work ethic and pays attention to detail.
The qualified candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of field experience as a survey crew leader performing ALTA, boundary, topographic and design surveys, construction staking, and a good understanding of legal descriptions. The candidate will be expected to work on public and private sector projects.
Experience in the use of GPS, robotic total stations, traditional surveying equipment, and basic knowledge with AutoCAD are all requirements of this position. Candidate must be able to accurately download and process survey data according to company standards and adapt quickly to learning new technology and programs as needed.
Candidate must possess good written and oral communication skills, have the ability to interact professionally with staff and clientele, demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, remain organized and manage time efficiently. Awareness of project schedules and deadlines is important for this position.
Candidate must work with a safety conscious mindset, possess a valid driver’s license, and successfully complete a DOT drug and alcohol test along with a background check.
