Holland Construction Services is seeking a VDC Manager to support Preconstruction, Operations, and Business Development with the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and VDC (Virtual Design and Construction). This is a critical role in the delivery of projects from conception to close-out.

THE OPPORTUNITY
Holland Construction Services is seeking a VDC Manager to support Preconstruction, Operations, and Business Development with the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and VDC (Virtual Design and Construction). This is a critical role in the delivery of projects from conception to close-out.
What You'll Do
- Acts as the subject matter expert for constructability related matters for internal and external project teams.
- Trains, coaches, and mentors VDC engineers, PEs, and other HCS employees.
- Assign tasks to VDC team members to complete project coordination.
- Works with operations teams on scheduling and sequence of schedule for prefabrication.
- Leads, plans, and manages contractors, designers, and suppliers in 3D model trade coordination process.
- Reviews design drawings and models for accuracy and constructability issues and missing
- UseshistoricaldataandtrendstodeveloplistofquestionsforRFI'sandworkswithdesignteamsto resolve
- Reviews and approves shopdrawings associated with 3D coordination.
- Accountable for solving problems and delivery results.
- Provides additional details, coordination drawings, and/or clarifying information to field employees.
- Confirms and communicates simple to complex site coordinates for models and forfield use/coordination.
- Typically requires an associate's or bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related degree OR equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Experience with Revit is required.
- Experience with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Infraworks, Navisworks, and related software is a plus.
- Interest in drones, AR/VR, 360 cameras, and related technology for construction.
- Understanding of construction documents and process.
- Knowledge of BIM/VDC.
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills are required.
- Attention to detail is a must.
