What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Help position at Holland Board of Public Works and Careers?
The Holland Board of Public Works is accepting resumes/applications for several summer help positions. These positions are temporary, full-time jobs that will last throughout the summer months (typically until September). Job duties include landscaping and general maintenance work, such as lawn mowing, trimming, painting, and cleaning.
The Summer Help positions are located at the Holland BPW’s Holland Energy Park, Water Reclamation Facility, Water Treatment Plant, and Service Center.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a good driving record, the necessary skills to operate industrial lawn mowers and trimmers, small hand tools, and the ability to work in outdoor conditions.
Employment will be contingent upon favorable results of a background check, pre-employment physical and drug screening. Given our safety-sensitive industry, our workplace is alcohol and drug free (including marijuana and THC items).
