We’re looking for an experienced Cash Management Specialist to fill this hybrid role which is based out of our Seattle office. In this critical role you’ll be responsible for overseeing Treasury functions and assisting with Cash Applications for Holland America Line and Seabourn. This includes processing of Shipboard cash order requests, managing Letters of Credit, assisting in preparing cash forecasting and recording and reconciling bank accounts. You’ll work closely with Fleet Finance Managers onboard our ships, the Treasury team, and the Corporate Accounting team to ensure the timely processing of cash order requests, maintain records and record/reconcile banking transactions. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and multitasking skills and understand the importance of handling personal identifiable information (PII) as well as strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications and digital banking platforms i.e. JPM Access, BofA CashPro and HSBCNet.

Responsibilities
- Timely processing of cash order requests from ships to ensure vessels have sufficient cash onboard to support required operations.
- Preparation of journal entries to record bank transactions for various accounts and reconciling bank accounts to General Ledger on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the monitoring and analyzing of cash flow, forecasting and financial transactions, often focusing on daily operations and reporting for liquidity management decisions.
- Maintain Letters of Credit including reviewing drafts for policy compliance, monitoring expiration dates and managing renewals.
- Preparing wire transaction packets in multiple currencies for movement of cash through various bank accounts.
- Adhering to Corporate Policies and Procedures, including Code of Conduct, Audit Procedures and any control related responsibility for financial data entered, stored, or reported via business systems within employee’s control (list not exhaustive). Performing other duties as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- 3 years experience in Finance or Accounting industry with some experience in Corporate Treasury or Cash Applications.
- Prior experience in Treasury, Banking or Corporate Finance. Experience in cash management.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Good analytical and accounting knowledge.
- Strong PC Skils with proficiency in Excel.
- Preferred Banking portals including BofA CashPro, JPMC Access, and HSBCNet.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Holland America is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-1B status).
Please note that this is a hybrid position based in Seattle, WA. Candidates must be comfortable coming into the office 3 days/week (Tuesday-Thursday).

- Base Hourly Range: $20.24-$27.36. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
