This is a full-time, on-site role located in South Bend, IN, for a Construction Superintendent. The Construction Superintendent will oversee all aspects of on-site construction operations, including managing work schedules, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, coordinating subcontractors, and maintaining project quality standards. They will be responsible for monitoring budget adherence, communicating project progress, and ensuring timely completion of all phases of construction. This key role requires excellent organizational skills and leadership to effectively manage teams and resolve challenges as they arise.
- Proficiency in Construction Site Management and ensuring Construction Safety standards are met
- Strong Organization Skills with an ability to manage complex schedules and tasks
- Experience in Budgeting and maintaining project cost controls
- Proven skills in Project Management, including coordinating teams and achieving project timelines
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication abilities
- Proficiency with construction management software and tools is a plus
- Familiarity with Design/Build and Construction Manager at Risk contracting methods is desirable
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED; additional certifications in construction management or related fields are preferred
