Position Summary
- Client is initiating a large-scale transformation of its Manufacturing Execution System (MES) operations and is seeking a hands-on MES Technical Manager (individual contributor) to lead the technical execution of this effort. This role is highly focused on MES technology, manufacturing operations, equipment integration, and production workflow optimization.
- The ideal candidate has deep experience with Critical Manufacturing MES, strong shop-floor systems expertise, and a solid background in regulated manufacturing environments (medical device or pharmaceutical).
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a related technical field.
- Significant hands-on experience with MES, ideally with Critical Manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, workflows, and shop-floor processes in regulated environments.
- Experience with MES–enterprise system integrations (ERP, QMS, PLM).
- Proficiency with APIs, web services, middleware, and system integration methodologies.
- Experience with validation, software testing, and requirements documentation.
- Knowledge of FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and related compliance standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
