Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Therapist at our East Haven OR Milford location. Responsibilities include conducting individual and/or family sessions assessing clients’ mental health needs, and developing personalized treatment plans. The Therapist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, track client progress, and provide support through evidence-based practices. You will also educate clients on coping strategies and facilitate resources to promote holistic well-being.
Qualifications
- Strong therapeutic skills
- Proficiency in assessing mental health needs and developing treatment plans
- Knowledge in evidence-based practices and holistic healing modalities
- Excellent communication and active listening skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet client needs
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a therapist (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMSW, LPC-A)
- Experience in holistic approaches to mental health care is a plus
- ART or EMDR certified is a plus
- Able to work some evenings
- Willing to see kids age 4 a plus
