What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health Paraprofessional – Residential Group Home position at Holistic Health Advancements, LLC?
Holistic Health Advancements is seeking compassionate and reliable Mental Health Paraprofessionals to support youth in a therapeutic Level III residential group home setting.
This position provides direct care and supervision for adolescents with behavioral and mental health needs while helping them develop life skills, emotional regulation, and positive social behaviors.
Our program focuses on healing, structure, accountability, and personal growth.
Responsibilities
Staff will provide daily supervision and support to youth residents in a therapeutic home environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Monitoring youth safety and supervision at all times
- Supporting daily routines (meals, hygiene, bedtime routines)
- Assisting youth with homework and educational activities
- Implementing behavior support strategies and program structure
- Documenting daily progress notes and incident reports
- Transporting youth to school, appointments, and activities
- Assisting with life skills development and positive social interaction
- Maintaining a safe, structured, and supportive environment
- Staff will also assist with medication administration in accordance with agency policy and state guidelines after completing required training.
Shift Availability
We are hiring staff for the following shifts:
First Shift:
7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Second Shift:
3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Overnight (Awake) Shift:
11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Weekend shifts are required for some positions. Weekend-only applicants are also encouraged to apply.
This position requires working in a residential environment where youth live full time, including evenings, overnight shifts, and weekends.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to complete required state training
Preferred:
- Experience working with youth or behavioral health
- Experience in group homes, residential care, or mental health settings

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
