Duties
- Assist with Spravato treatment session including the monitoring of patients during and after treatments
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
- Coordinate scheduling and patient flow
- Answer the phone and respond to patients' questions and concerns, providing compassionate patient support and education
- Assist with prior authorizations and insurance coordination
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment
- Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories, updating records, and verifying insurance information using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
- Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates with precision and care
- Communicate with other staff including the provider
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions, offering reassurance, and coordinating follow-up appointments or referrals
Requirements
- Medical Assistant certification preferred (or relevant clinical experience)
- Proven experience as a medical assistant in diverse healthcare settings
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required
- Familiarity with EHR systems for documentation and scheduling purposes
- Ability to perform clinical tasks including medication administration, vital signs collection, and intake procedures
- Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care in outpatient or inpatient settings
- Experience in psychiatry or behavioral health strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm, attentive, and compassionate in a mental health setting
- Interest in holistic and integrative approaches to care
- Comfortable learning new technologies and treatment modalities

Pay: $22.84 - $27.51 per hour
