What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Warehouse Case Picker position at Holiday Wholesale?
Job Brief:Pick case product orders using a voice automated headset and place finished order on a pallet, without damage or mistake.Essential Functions:Hand selects orders for customers using a voice operated headset in a temperature-controlled environment.Stack product on pallets following proper selecting procedures, for example, no stacking heavy on light, labels facing out, etc.Maintain and safely operate all assigned equipment, including but not limited to pallet jacks, the voice operated headset, and personal protective equipment.Able to stand for extended periods of time and be productive within a repetitive lifting environment.Place correct shipping labels on products and move completed orders to shipping area.Responsible for keeping work area and aisles clean and free from obstructions.Sort picked product by destination stop.Ability to work as part of a team.Report damaged or opened stock before placing it into inventory.Work in an area with moving industrial equipment such as forklifts and electric stackers.Any other associated function required to complete the tasks assigned by the Manager.Knowledge, skills, and abilities required:Able to walk, stand and lift products for the majority of work shift.Follow company safety procedures for food safety.Ability to read, write and communicate in English.Must have basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).Be willing to become forklift certified if not already.Work Hours:4 days per week Monday to Thursday, 5pm start time, work until done.Work all scheduled shifts to receive a $1.00 an hour attendance bonus.Company DescriptionA family owned and operated wholesaler based in Wisconsin Dells with distribution throughout Wisconsin and neighboring states.
