Job Opportunity: Veterinarian (Full-Time/Part-Time/Occasional) – Mobile Practice
Vets Off Leash is a boutique mobile veterinary practice serving pets and families across North Metro Atlanta and the South Lake Lanier area. Our two fully equipped veterinary vans in Georgia bring personalized care directly to clients’ homes. We focus on making visits less stressful for pets and giving clients the time and attention they deserve.
We’re looking for a small animal veterinarian to join our existing team on a full-time, part-time, or occasional relief basis. We schedule approximately one hour per appointment and typically see six to eight patients per day, allowing time for thoughtful medicine, clear communication, and meaningful client relationships.
What you’ll do
- Provide wellness care, vaccinations, and illness treatment.
- Diagnose and manage chronic conditions, with appropriate follow-up and referrals.
- Work alongside a veterinary assistant to create a calm experience for each patient.
- Communicate clearly with clients and develop practical care plans.
- Travel to appointments within our service area from our Sugar Hill home base.
What we’re looking for
- DVM or equivalent degree and a valid Georgia veterinary license.
- Strong clinical judgment, diagnostic skills, and client communication.
- A compassionate approach to patients, clients, and teammates.
- Comfort practicing as the veterinarian on a mobile team.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- DEA registration and ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Fear Free certification or the ability to become certified is required. Experience practicing as the sole veterinarian on a shift is preferred but not required.
