Culinary Instructor
Job Overview:
Holiday Market’s Mirepoix Cooking School is seeking a
Culinary Instructor to inspire customers in their culinary journey. The
Culinary Instructor blends their culinary expertise and teaching skills to
drive business results and enhance the customer experience.
Tasks and Responsibilities of the Culinary Instructor:
· Delivers an Exceptional cooking class experience using
pre-set recipes and plans
· Reviews and familiarizes oneself with the upcoming
class/event details prior to shift
· Provides coaching and direction as needed to customers
(students) involved in the class being taught
· Facilitates a team building experience and creates a fun
and welcoming atmosphere for participants
· Actively engages with participants in-house culinary
experiences
· Ensures high standards of cleanliness are maintained
throughout the teaching experience
· Stays informed by maintaining product knowledge- be a
knowledgeable resource for our guests
Qualifications and Skills:
· Demonstrates exceptional communication skills
· Ability to move about the workspace coaching and
directing class participants
· Demonstrates successful teaching experience
· Culinary arts or hospitality degree preferred but not
required
· 2 years of teaching and/or 2 years of Chef level or
higher experience
· Ability to work a flexible schedule in accordance with
the scheduling of classes (evenings and weekends are required)
· Ability to lift and move kitchen equipment up to 35lbs
Job Types: Part-time
Pay: $ - $22.00- $25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 6–8-hour shift
- Weekends

Experience:
- Culinary Experience: 3 years (Preferred)
- Teaching: 2 years
