Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our facility, ensuring that all guest rooms and laundry services meet the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will have experience in hotel housekeeping and laundry operations, including dry cleaning processes.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Launder linens, towels, and other items according to established procedures.
- Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Sort, fold, and organize clean laundry for easy distribution.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and report any shortages to management.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean working environment.
- Respond promptly to guest requests for additional supplies or services.
- Maintain an organized storage area for cleaning supplies and laundry materials.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or laundry services required.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning products.
- Familiarity with IHG WAY OF CLEAN processes is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
