Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential homes, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface wiping to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to ensure hygienic living spaces.
• Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens with care and efficiency.
• Clean floors using various methods including sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and floor care techniques to restore shine and safety.
• Manage outdoor work responsibilities like patio cleaning or yard tidying when required by clients.
• Use proper manual handling techniques for heavy lifting of furniture or appliances safely and effectively.
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service that exceeds expectations.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, equipment operation, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation standards.
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents, floor care products, and janitorial supplies.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple homes or projects.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle outdoor work when necessary.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
• Basic understanding of cleaning procedures including dusting, surface sanitation, laundry handling, and equipment maintenance.
