Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for retail sales transactions, including cash register operations and cash handling
- Assist customers with product demos, answering questions about store products and features to enhance their shopping experience
- Upsell complementary products and services to maximize sales opportunities in a friendly manner
- Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure merchandise is well-presented according to merchandising standards
- Maintain accurate cash drawer handling and perform basic math calculations for transactions and refunds
- Provide bilingual support when needed to serve a diverse customer base effectively
Skills
- Proven experience with POS systems, cashiering, and retail sales transactions
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and customer service abilities
- Supervising experience in retail or grocery environments is a plus, demonstrating leadership qualities
- Ability to conduct product demos confidently and educate customers about store offerings
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and stock management practices
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and efficiently
