Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience from the moment they arrive until they leave.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage selections.
- Take accurate orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring all special requests are noted.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring sanitation standards are met.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including basic math for processing payments.
- Assist with hosting duties as needed, providing excellent guest relations at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightlife environments.
- Familiarity with OpenTable for reservations management is a plus.
- Culinary experience or knowledge of food handling and safety practices is beneficial.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently manage multiple tables and guest needs simultaneously.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests quickly.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing are essential.
