Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and demonstrate proficiency in various maintenance tasks. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure the functionality and safety of our facilities, while also providing excellent customer service. The Maintenance Worker will be responsible for performing repairs, conducting routine maintenance, and overseeing projects as needed.
Duties
- Perform daily maintenance and repair tasks throughout guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
- Troubleshoot and repair minor plumbing, electrical, and HVAC issues
- Conduct routine inspections of rooms, hallways, and equipment to ensure everything is in working order
- Complete maintenance requests promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
- Assist with painting, drywall repair, and general upkeep of the hotel
- Monitor and maintain the appearance of the property’s interior and exterior areas
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, inventory, and supplies
- Follow all safety and security policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel or property maintenance preferred
- Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
