Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities for mechanical systems, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC units, and high-voltage equipment.
- Manage facilities maintenance teams, assigning tasks and ensuring adherence to maintenance repair procedures and safety regulations.
- Oversee the implementation of maintenance management programs using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, inventory, and asset history.
- Conduct engineering troubleshooting for complex mechanical or electrical issues using schematics, ohmmeters, voltmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and safety regulations through regular safety audits and training sessions.
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Collaborate with project management teams on facility upgrades or new installations involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation systems.
- Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and safety procedures for audit purposes.
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience managing facilities maintenance teams within industrial or manufacturing settings.
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems repair, electrical systems troubleshooting (including high voltage and low voltage), HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, and industrial maintenance practices.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations such as OSHA standards related to facilities management.
- Hands-on experience with schematics interpretation, engineering troubleshooting tools (ohmmeters, voltmeters), and managing facilities using CMMS software.
- Familiarity with managing large-scale projects involving electrical systems repair or HVAC upgrades.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams while ensuring high standards of safety and quality.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting and coordination across departments.
