Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring proper processing of sales transactions
• Serve food and beverages efficiently, including cocktail and spirits service, while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
• Upsell menu items, wine selections, and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth service flow
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for seamless order entry and transaction processing
• Proven experience in food service environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings with beverage expertise in spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink service
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and handle diverse needs effectively
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours without compromising quality of service
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and sales transactions
• Culinary experience or food industry background preferred to better understand menu items and food safety standards
• Knowledge of sanitation practices, food handling procedures, and alcohol regulations to ensure compliance at all times

Pay: $9.00 - $10.00 per hour
