Job Summary

In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms according to established standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities.
• Handle various cleaning tasks such as floor care, chemical agent handling, and industrial cleaning to maintain high sanitation levels.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, including vacuums, and other janitorial tools.
• Follow safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines and hotel emergency procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and restrooms to uphold hotel standards of hygiene and appearance.
• Document completed tasks accurately in logs or reports and communicate any maintenance or safety issues promptly to management.

Skills

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial experience within hospitality settings.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively across various surfaces.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude toward guests and team members.
• Demonstrated reliability with attention to detail in industrial cleaning environments and janitorial tasks.
