Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest rooms daily according to hotel and brand standards, including making beds, replacing linens, sanitizing surfaces, and replenishing amenities.
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as hallways, lobbies, fitness rooms, and laundry rooms to ensure a polished hotel environment.
- Respond promptly to guest requests for additional items such as towels, toiletries, or linens with a friendly and helpful attitude.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards immediately to management for quick resolution.
- Follow proper procedures for handling lost and found items, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Manage housekeeping carts and equipment, keeping them clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout the shift.
- Support laundry operations by washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens as needed.
- Work efficiently to meet daily room quotas while maintaining high cleaning standards and attention to detail.
- Assist with deep-clean tasks such as carpet cleaning, furniture polishing, and high-dusting on a scheduled basis.
- Coordinate with front desk and maintenance teams to ensure timely room turnovers and address guest needs.
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience in a hotel environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and an ability to follow established cleaning procedures consistently.
- Friendly, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, safety protocols, and proper chemical handling is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude when interacting with guests and team members.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $12.50 per hour
