What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Holiday Inn Riverton?
The Holiday Inn in Riverton has an opening for a full-time Maintenance Technician for a busy hotel. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities. This position performs maintenance service and general repairs in the areas of plumbing, drywall, texture, tile, carpentry, painting, electrical, cabinetry, laminates, granite and appliance servicing at a general level. Experience a plus but will train the right individuals. Must be able to work Days/Evenings/Holidays and Weekends. No overnight shifts. Must be able to pass background screening and have a valid driver's license.
This position has a wage of $15-$17 per hour depending upon experience. Uniforms provided. Restaurant and hotel discounts. Benefits may be available after a waiting period.
Qualifications/Physical requirements:-
- Strong attention to detail, working carefully within minimum time
- Must be able to follow written and verbal directions
- Must be capable of working in a fast paced environment with multiple interruptions
- Must be able to lift 50 to 75lbs unassisted
- Must be capable of frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, standing, walking, and carrying
- Must be flexible in hours and days available to work in accordance to business need
