Job Summary

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression through excellent phone etiquette and professional demeanor
• Manage multi-line phone systems efficiently, handling reservations, inquiries, and guest requests promptly
• Check guests in and out using OPERA or similar hotel management software with accuracy and speed
• Provide comprehensive guest services, including concierge assistance, local recommendations, and resolving issues swiftly
• Conduct night audits to reconcile daily transactions, update records, and prepare reports for management review
• Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently to ensure guest safety and security at all times
• Maintain detailed records of guest interactions, reservations, and special requests to enhance guest relations

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a front desk agent or in hospitality management within a hotel or resort environment
• Strong knowledge of hotel management systems such as OPERA or comparable platforms
• Multilingual skills or bilingual abilities are highly preferred to serve diverse guests effectively
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally
• Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols
• Previous experience with night audit procedures is advantageous
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on courteous service delivery
