The Holiday Inn & Suites Downtown Duluth is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of linens, towels, and other items within our facility. This position is essential for ensuring that our guests experience the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort.
Job Responsibilities:
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold various items including linens, towels, blankets, napkins and uniforms to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Sort, fold, and organize clean laundry for easy distribution.
- Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and report any shortages to
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by regularly cleaning machines and workspaces.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Assist with any special laundry requests from guests or management as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hotel or similar environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of laundry tasks.
Shifts:
Looking for 2am/mid shift and a PM shift. 7am-3pm, 11am-7pm or a 3pm-11pm.
