Job Summary
We are looking for someone to join our small team as a room attendant/laundry attendant. Must be trustworthy as you will be entering guests' rooms. Must have good customer service skills, be able to communicate clearly, neat in appearance. Be willing to work weekends and some holidays. Previous hotel housekeeping experience is preferred. Must follow IHG Brand Standard of cleaning as set by IHG and our Corporate hotel policies.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $9.50 - $10.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week

Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Manage laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and report any maintenance issues to management promptly.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to ensure the safety and satisfaction of guests.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by disposing of waste properly and keeping storage areas tidy.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations within the housekeeping department.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Previous experience in industrial cleaning or custodial roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of housekeeping management practices and standards within the hospitality industry.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean efficiently and effectively.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Must be physically capable of performing cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
