Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, comfortable, and tidy environment for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Room Cleaning: Clean guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning bathrooms to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.
- Public Areas: Maintain cleanliness in public areas of the hotel, including lobbies, hallways, and public restrooms.
- Linen and Supplies: Replace used towels and linens, stock guest rooms with necessary supplies, and ensure adequate inventory levels.
- Guest Requests: Respond promptly to guest requests for additional amenities or services.
- Maintenance Reporting: Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department for immediate resolution.
- Compliance: Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other hotel staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Special Projects: Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight (up to 25 lbs.), stand, and walk for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- Attitude: Positive attitude, reliability, and a commitment to providing excellent guest service.
- Availability: Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
