Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Hotel Maintenance Engineer to ensure the seamless operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all hotel systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues related to hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical circuits (including high voltage and low voltage systems), and mechanical components using schematics and precision measuring instruments.
- Operate specialized equipment such as scissor lifts, industrial welders (including
welding), and other tools necessary for maintenance tasks. - Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, schedule maintenance activities, and document repairs for compliance and efficiency.
- Conduct safety checks on high voltage systems, electrical panels, and industrial machinery to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Assist with technical sales support by providing expert advice on equipment repairs or upgrades when liaising with vendors or clients.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs; interpret schematics for troubleshooting complex systems.
- Support field service operations by responding promptly to maintenance requests across the property while ensuring customer service excellence.
- Operate various testing instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other analysis tools to diagnose electrical issues accurately.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards including HVAC/R regulations and industrial electrician practices.
Experience
- Proven experience working within manufacturing facilities or large-scale hospitality environments with a focus on industrial maintenance.
- Strong background in mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting (including high voltage), hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, and schematics interpretation.
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CMMS software, precision measuring instruments, welding (including
welding), and low/high voltage electrical systems. - Demonstrated ability to perform field service tasks efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service skills.
- Knowledge of industrial mechanic practices combined with analysis skills for diagnosing complex system issues quickly.
- Prior experience working with industrial electricians or in military maintenance roles is highly advantageous.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as scissor lifts safely and effectively in a busy environment.
- Fluency in English is required for clear communication across teams and documentation purposes.
