Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Hotel Breakfast Attendant and House Person to join our hospitality team. This role involves ensuring the cleanliness and presentation of guest areas, breakfast service, and providing exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have at least one year experience in the hotel food industry and a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and a proactive attitude to maintain high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve breakfast items in accordance with hotel standards, including food presentation and safety protocols
- Maintain cleanliness of breakfast area, including tables, counters, and dining spaces
- Restock supplies and ensure food safety standards are met during service
- Assist with general housekeeping duties such as cleaning guest corridors, public areas, and hotel amenities
- Bussing tables and clearing dishes during breakfast hours to ensure a smooth dining experience
- Support guest relations by providing friendly service, answering questions, and addressing needs promptly
- Monitor guest areas for cleanliness and report maintenance issues as needed
- Follow all safety procedures related to food handling, sanitation, and hotel operations
Skills
- Previous experience in food service, catering, or hospitality is preferred; experience with kitchen prep or food handling is a plus
- Strong communication skills and excellent phone etiquette for guest interactions
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with cleaning, bussing tables, or hotel housekeeping is desirable
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
- Customer service orientation with a friendly demeanor and guest-focused attitude
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a hospitality setting
- Basic culinary skills such as meal preparation or coffee experience are beneficial but not required
- Knowledge of dietary accommodations or dietary aide experience can be advantageous
