Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. As the first point of contact, you will play a crucial role in ensuring guest satisfaction and maintaining the smooth operation of the front desk. Your responsibilities will include managing reservations, assisting guests with inquiries, and facilitating check-ins and check-outs in a welcoming environment.
1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage front desk operations including check-in/check-out procedures, reservations, and guest inquiries.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance the guest experience.
- Handle guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software.
- Conduct night audits as required to ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address any guest needs or issues efficiently.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization at the front desk area.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Proficiency in hospitality management practices; bilingual or multilingual skills are highly desirable.
- Familiarity with night audit processes is a plus.
- Excellent phone etiquette and ability to manage multi-line phone systems effectively.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed in a resort environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on professionalism in all interactions.
