What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Houseperson position at Holiday Inn Express Troutville?
The Holiday Inn Express in Troutville/Roanoke has a new and immediate opening for a Hotel Houseperson. The management of this beautiful newly renovated property wants to add experienced staff to its award-winning team. We are looking for a self-motivated person for general custodial duties and some general maintenance as well as to assist with housekeeping/laundry duties. Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
- General custodial duties in guest rooms, breakfast bar and common areas
- Grounds Maintenance: Maintaining clean parking lot and keeping property/landscaping neat and clean
- Cleaning/Mopping: Keep hallways clean and welcoming to guests
- Stocking: assisting housekeeping with stocking/restocking towels and toiletries
- Customer service: Responding to guest requests and providing exceptional customer service
- Trash removal: Emptying trash in guest rooms, breakfast bar and common areas
- Maintenance: replacing light bulbs, repairing furniture, identifying maintenance issues, maintaining/cleaning guest room HVAC systems, etc.
