Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces regularly.
- Handle laundry duties efficiently by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels to meet hotel standards.
- Conduct detailed floor care procedures including carpet cleaning and polishing hard floors to preserve their appearance and safety.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products to ensure availability for guests and staff.
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly to maintain a safe environment for all staff and guests.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold the hotel’s quality standards.
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Demonstrated skills in cleaning techniques, including vacuuming, dusting, and sanitation practices.
- Knowledge of floor care methods such as carpet extraction and hard floor polishing.
- Experience with janitorial or industrial cleaning environments is advantageous.
- Familiarity with hospitality standards and guest service expectations enhances your ability to deliver exceptional cleanliness.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team.
