Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facility spaces using established procedures and safety standards
- Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens, towels, and clothing items
- Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and dry cleaning machines with proper safety precautions
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and laundry products are stocked and properly stored
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness by regularly disinfecting surfaces and removing trash
- Report any maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning routines to the appropriate personnel
- Follow health and safety guidelines consistently to create a safe environment for staff and guests
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles preferred; hotel experience is a plus
- Knowledge of laundry procedures including washing, drying, ironing, and dry cleaning techniques
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to operate laundry machinery safely and efficiently
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that require standing, bending, or lifting for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork
- Ability to follow instructions precisely while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
