Hotel Room Attendant/ Housekeeper

Holiday Inn Express Howell is looking for Hotel Room Attendants/Housekeepers with previous cleaning/janitorial experience or hotel experience! We are looking for people who have an eye for detail, a knack for time management, and are good at meeting quality standards while satisfying our guests. What you’ll do

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, ensuring they are spotless and inviting for every arrival.
• Perform floor care duties, including vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces to enhance the overall appearance of the property.
• Collaborate with housekeeping management to uphold cleanliness standards and address any special requests from guests.
• Utilize industrial cleaning techniques and janitorial practices to maintain common areas and facilities in top condition.
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Adhere to safety protocols while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment, ensuring a safe environment for both guests and staff.
• Provide exceptional hospitality by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns regarding room cleanliness or amenities.

Basic qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning or custodial roles, preferably within a hotel or hospitality setting.

Preferred qualifications

• Familiarity with housekeeping management practices.
• Strong attention to detail with a passion for maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.

Pay: $14.00 - $14.50 per hour
