Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hotel General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, with a focus on enhancing guest experiences and driving revenue growth. As the Hotel General Manager, you will lead a team of professionals, ensuring that all departments operate smoothly and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of service.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, guest services, housekeeping, and maintenance.
- Develop and implement strategies for revenue management and budgeting to maximize profitability.
- Ensure exceptional customer service is provided to all guests, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
- Lead, train, and supervise hotel staff to foster a positive work environment and enhance team performance.
- Manage human resources functions including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and employee relations.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations as well as company policies.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance guest relations and satisfaction.
- Conduct night audits to ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to operational standards.
- Utilize multi-line phone systems effectively while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette in all communications.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Experience in revenue management and budgeting processes is essential.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Familiarity with front desk operations and night audit procedures is preferred.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with guests from various backgrounds.
- Strong knowledge of hospitality best practices, including guest relations and human resources management.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
