Holiday Inn Express & Suites is seeking a warm, cheerful individual with a guest-centered attitude for a Housekeeping position within our hotel. Responsibilities will include: greeting and conversing with guests, cleaning guest rooms and public spaces with an extreme attention to detail. Work involves 5 days a week with the opportunity to pick up extra hours.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide professional and courteous service at all times.
- Clean guest rooms
- Dusts, vacuums and overall maintains all public areas, hallways, rest areas and other spaces assigned.
- Collects linens for laundering and received and stores linen supplies in appropriate locations.
- Refurnishes areas with supplies as required.
- Removes and disposes of trash.
- Completes projects as determined by executive housekeeper.
- Communicate all pertinent information to managers and supervisors.
- Follow set procedures.
- Be knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and hotel policies.
To do this kind of work, you must be able to:
- Use hands to lift, carry or pull objects that may be heavy.
Perform routine work or the same task over and over again.
- Be available for work days, weekends and holidays.
Physical Demands:Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, seeing, feeling.
