What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laundry Aide position at Holiday Inn Express & Suites, Quakertown, PA?

- Assist with the collection of dirty linen from the housekeepers.
- Sort linens for washer.
- Remove stains from badly soiled linen.
- Disposes of linen and terry properly.
- Operate washers and dryers properly. Ensures that the right chemicals and amounts are being used. Also ensures that the proper amount of linen is being placed in each washer.
- Folds all lines to hotel standards and stocks in the designated places.
- Washes bed skirts, duvets, mattress pads and blankets in accordance with hotel standards.
- Keeps laundry area neat and clean.
- Handles all laundry chemical products properly and advises housekeeping supervisor of inventory levels.
- Assists housekeepers in the cleanliness of the hotel when laundry is slow or work is caught up.
- Assists with the cleaning and upkeep of all storage areas.
- Any other duties as assigned.
