Housekeeper

We’re in search of a housekeeper to ensure guest satisfaction during their stay with us. Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms, restrooms, and common areas, making beds, and performing other general cleaning duties as assigned. The ideal candidate is a cleaning enthusiast, a team player, and a highly organized professional with an energetic attitude to make a difference in each guest's day.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will provide superior guest satisfaction while attending to the guest's needs, such as answering any questions and addressing any needs. The candidate will work easily in a fast-paced environment. Occasionally, the employee may be exposed to high-concentration cleaning solutions, dust, dirt, or grime. The noise level in the work environment will be at a low level.

$17.13 - $17.75 hourly

• Perform cleaning duties and arrange guest rooms to our hotel’s standard before guests arrive
• Vacuum, mop, make beds, dust and polish furniture, stock rooms with toiletries, and do laundry as needed
• Respond to general inquiries from guests
• Maintain common spaces including the hotel lobby, corridors, and public restrooms
• Write down what rooms were cleaned, report lost and found items and any damage or repairs needed

• Over 1 year as a professional housekeeper strongly desired
• Good understanding of cleaning techniques and products
• Impeccable work ethic and excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
• High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
