Hotel Maintenance Technician
Summary:
We’re seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep, safety, and smooth operation of our hotel. This role performs routine repairs, preventive maintenance, and responds quickly to guest and staff requests to ensure a comfortable, well-maintained environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform general repairs in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry).
Complete preventive maintenance tasks and maintain accurate logs.
Respond quickly to maintenance requests with professional, guest-focused service.
Maintain and troubleshoot building systems, equipment, and safety devices.
Monitor, clean, and maintain pool and spa areas, including water chemistry, equipment checks, and safety compliance.
Support and maintain positive relationships with vendors and service contractors; assist with scheduling, supervision, and follow-up on outsourced work.
Assist with property improvement projects and maintain organized work areas.
Qualifications:
Maintenance experience in hospitality or similar setting preferred.
Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs.
Ability to lift 50 lbs., work on your feet, and handle occasional on-call shifts.
Strong problem-solving skills and customer-service orientation.
