Hotel breakfast host

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Hotel Breakfast Host to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests during breakfast hours. Your primary focus will be on providing exceptional customer service, ensuring the breakfast area is clean and well-stocked, prepare breakfast, and assisting guests with their needs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to enhancing the guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly as they enter the breakfast area and provide them with an overview of the offerings.
• Ensure that the breakfast buffet is well-stocked, clean, and presented attractively throughout service hours.
• Assist guests with any questions or requests, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.
• Monitor food quality and freshness, promptly addressing any issues that arise.
• Handle guest feedback with professionalism and resolve any concerns to ensure satisfaction.
• Uphold hotel standards of hospitality and guest relations at all times.
• Prepare breakfast daily
• Complete weekly inventory and ordering

Experience

• Previous host/cook experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred.
• Background in food service or hospitality is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with guests and team members.
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and manage guest relations effectively.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
