We are seeking a reliable and service-oriented Houseperson to support our housekeeping team and help maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests. This role covers both AM and PM shifts and is essential to the smooth operation of the hotel and involves both guest-facing and behind-the-scenes responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness in public spaces including lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and backofhouse areas
- Deliver clean linens, towels, amenities, and supplies to room attendants and housekeeping storage areas
- Remove trash and used linens from guestrooms and linen closets
- Assist room attendants by stocking carts, removing debris, and organizing storage spaces
- Respond promptly to guest requests and communicate effectively with the housekeeping and front desk teams
- Set up or break down meeting rooms or event spaces as needed
- Transport guests to area transportation hubs (airport, Amtrak etc.) when needed
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or lost-and-found items
- Follow all hotel safety and sanitation procedures
- Other duties as assigned
