What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Assistant position at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bozeman West?
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bozeman West is now hiring a full-time Maintenance Assistant. This person must be detail oriented and demonstrate excellent customer service, communication and problem solving skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining a clean and chemically balanced pool
- Conducting regular preventative maintenance checks throughout hotel
- Carpet cleaning
- Miscellaneous janitorial tasks
- Assist Chief of Maintenance with various projects
- Mattress and furniture replacement
- Running errands for the Maintenance Department
- Other maintenance related tasks
Skills and abilities:
- Work well independently and on a team
- Must be safety minded
- Able to follow instructions and stay organized
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Electrical and plumbing skills a plus, but not required

Position is 32-40 hours per week with opportunity for overtime. Saturdays and Sundays are required, but otherwise the position can be somewhat flexible. Pay is $20.00 to $22.00 per hour depending on experience. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.
