Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure a spotless environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and recreational spaces with precision and efficiency.
• Perform floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning to uphold the hotel’s high standards of hygiene.
• Handle janitorial tasks such as waste disposal, restocking amenities, and ensuring all cleaning equipment is properly maintained.
• Assist with special cleaning projects like industrial cleaning or deep cleans in guest rooms or common areas as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff alike.
• Collaborate with housekeeping management to report maintenance issues or supply shortages promptly.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within a hotel or hospitality setting is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and floor polishing.
• Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork and guest service.
• Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and housekeeping management practices is advantageous.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift moderate loads, and perform physically demanding tasks comfortably. Pay: $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
