Overview
As a Hotel Laundry Attendant, you’ll keep linens and garments clean, fresh, and ready for guests and hotel teams. You’ll operate laundry equipment, handle materials carefully, and maintain a clean, organized work area. Responsibilities
- Sort, load, wash, dry, and fold linens and garments using appropriate textile cleaning methods
- Operate garment care machines and industrial dryers; use laundry detergents according to product directions and safety standards
- Inspect items for stains, damage, or special care needs, and separate items requiring additional attention
- Move laundry with push carts and perform materials handling, including lifting and carrying loads safely
- Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas, follow production safety standards and protocols, and report equipment concerns
Requirements
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks, including standing, bending, pushing carts, and heavy lifting, while following safe practices
- Basic math skills to measure detergents, track laundry loads, and sort items accurately
- Attention to detail when cleaning, inspecting, and caring for textiles
- Commitment to sanitation, safety protocol adherence, and consistent laundry quality
- Customer service skills and a helpful, professional approach when responding to guest or team requests
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
