Night Auditor Job Description
You are to report ten minutes before shift change time. Punch the time clock when checking in and also checking out.
Initial Duties with Clerk Going Off Duty
∙ Count the money drop for the clerk you are relieving
∙ Watch the clerk drop the money in the locked drop box
∙ Sign your initials on the money shift verification form
∙ Count your bank; each shift starts with $50.00
∙ Any shortage should be documented in writing and signed by a desk clerk and auditor. Report shortage to the manager.
∙ Check the computer and make sure your shift has been keyed in and your initials are posted
Regular duties as Auditor
∙ Check the day’s work and correct any errors.
∙ Do all check systems
∙ Clean the lobby
∙ Set up continental breakfast
∙ Take reservations and enter into computer
∙ Do the audit; following the audit guidelines
Responsibility of All Shifts
∙ To keep Lobby clean and neat at all times.
∙ Follow all rules given to you on the date hired
∙ To complete correctly all daily forms and reports
∙ To know the layout of interior and exterior of property
∙ To know the location of the main gas cut off, water, electrical, and breakers ∙ To know the location of master keys, override keys and laundry room keys so the appropriate service can be provided if a guest has a problem
∙ To know how to shut the computer down in case of emergency or fire ∙ Have an emergency kit with a flashlight. (Know where it is at all times) ∙ To know the location of the first aid supplies
∙ To know the manager’s phone number
∙ After two weeks of training, a trainee will be required to work alone ∙ During the 120-day probationary period the manager will continue to work with trainee a part of each day to improve your proficiency
∙ Know how to set up the American Disabilities Act (ADA) box
∙ Refer all customers to another Daly Seven property when full at your location ∙ Employees must be able to lift 30 pounds, bend, stoop, and go up and down stairs. Employees are required to seek assistance if unable to lift or move an item over 30 pounds.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.50 per hour
