Duties
- Greet and assist guests with check-in, check-out, and inquiries using excellent phone etiquette across multi-line phone systems
- Manage front desk operations efficiently, including reservations, billing, and guest account adjustments using OPERA or similar hotel management software
- Conduct nightly audits by reconciling financial transactions, verifying billing accuracy, and preparing detailed reports for management review
- Handle guest requests and resolve issues promptly to ensure outstanding guest services and satisfaction
- Maintain security protocols by monitoring CCTV surveillance, conducting safety checks, and following hotel emergency procedures
- Update guest records accurately while maintaining confidentiality and data integrity
- Support other departments as needed to uphold hospitality standards and guest relations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel operations, preferably in a front desk or night audit role
- Strong knowledge of hotel management systems such as OPERA or comparable platforms
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to enhance guest interactions across diverse populations
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure guest and staff safety during overnight shifts
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently while maintaining professionalism in all communications
- Previous resort or hotel experience is advantageous for understanding guest expectations in a hospitality environment
