Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items
- Maintain floors through specialized care including carpet cleaning, polishing, waxing, and other floor care techniques
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, cleaning products, and linens to ensure availability for guests or residents
- Assist with meal preparation or light cooking tasks when required, supporting overall hospitality needs
- Ensure all areas are sanitized according to health regulations, including bathrooms, kitchens, and common spaces
- Manage custodial tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and company policies
Requirements
- Proven experience in housekeeping, residential cleaning, janitorial work or hotel housekeeping is highly preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, sanitation practices, and commercial cleaning procedures
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests or residents
- Ability to handle laundry operations efficiently and maintain organized linen supplies
- Experience with kitchen duties such as light cooking or food preparation is a plus
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks confidently
- Familiarity with cleaning tools and equipment like vacuums, buffers, steam cleaners, and sanitation supplies
