Duties
- Prepare and serve breakfast items according to established recipes and standards, including food presentation and portion control.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, and service stations, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Set up breakfast buffet or served stations, ensuring all items are stocked and presentable throughout service hours.
- Assist guests with seating arrangements, answer questions about menu options, and provide friendly guest relations.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and billing.
- Buss tables promptly after guests finish dining, ensuring a tidy environment for incoming guests.
- Restock supplies and manage inventory levels for breakfast items and condiments.
- Follow all food handling and safety procedures to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and delivery during busy periods.
- Support catering or banquet setups when needed, including food presentation and guest assistance.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality is preferred; experience with breakfast or buffet service is a plus.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety standards, and proper handling procedures.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and guest relations abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, or holidays as required; availability for early shifts is preferred.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly attitude and teamwork skills.
