Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and living areas, ensuring all surfaces are spotless.
- Perform floor care duties, including vacuuming, mopping, and polishing floors to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and towels in guest rooms and common areas.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established housekeeping procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with the organization of housekeeping carts and equipment for efficient workflow.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or inquiries regarding room services.
Requirements
- Previous experience in custodial or industrial cleaning preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete assigned tasks within designated time frames.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
